“Nose” day

Nose: a precipitation in the form of ice crystals, mainly of intricately branched, hexagonal form and often agglomerated into snowflakes, formed directly from the freezing of the water vapor in the air (from dictionary.com). More commonly known as snow (my toddler is still a bit dyslexic in his speaking at times).

We had our first real snowfall of the winter here a couple of days ago, so I took the baby out to play and get some good snow pictures.

Here’s my stinker learning the art of snowball making from dad. The last shot is my favorite. It took a few attempts to get the timing right, but I just love the look on his face.

Dad making stinker walk on one of our raised vegetable beds. He has an aversion to heights when he doesn’t reach them on his own steam. He has no problem walking all over the 6′ tall jungle gym at the playground when he climbs up the ladder himself, but the 2′ tall vegetable bed was a bit much for him this day.

Yea! He made it to the end!
